Common faults and troubleshooting methods of engineering gantry crane
Cause of slip hook
(1) The brake works frequently and uses for a long time. The pin shaft, pin hole and brake liner wear are serious, resulting in the position change of the brake arm and its tiles during braking, and the brake torque pulsates. When the braking torque becomes smaller, the phenomenon of slip hook will occur.
The brake wheel working surface or brake lining oil, there is a jam phenomenon, so that the braking, friction coefficient is reduced and lead to the reduction of braking torque, resulting in slip hook.
● The center line of the outer circle of the brake wheel is different from that of the empty one, and the radial circle runout exceeds the technical standard.
● Brake spring tension underfoot, or spring nut loose.
● Live spring material is poor or heat treatment does not meet the requirements, spring fatigue, failure
● The weight of the long stroke brake increases the support under the hammer, which reduces the braking torque.
Measures to eliminate the failure of slip hook
● Serious wear brake brake frame and loose brake, should be replaced in time to eliminate the plug.
The brake wheel working surface or brake lining should be cleaned with kerosene or gasoline to remove oil stains.
● When the center line of the outer circle of the driving wheel is different from the center line of the hole, the brake wheel should be repaired or replaced.
● Tighten the main spring nut to increase the braking torque.
● Adjust the corresponding top wire and auxiliary spring to make the brake pad and brake wheel clearance uniform.
● When the installation accuracy of the brake is poor, it must be re-installed.
● Exclude support, increase brake torque.
